Here at High Street Dental Practice we are doing all we can to make you feel safe during your visit. Even before this pandemic hit, we have adhered to very strict cross-infection and hygiene measures ensuring the safety and welfare of our patients. The practice had its latest routine inspection by the CQC (The independent regulator of health and social care in England) on the 31/10/2018 and was found to be “Clean and well maintained” and providing “safe care in accordance with the relevant regulations”.
However we have taken the following additional measures to help keep you and our community safe.
- All staff are screened daily for any symptoms of the coronavirus.
- Mask will be worn by all staff members in the building, and patients will be asked to wear one when not seated in surgery
- All patients are asked screening questions by telephone before attending for their appointment
- All patients will have their temperature checked on arrival and offered hand sanitiser
- We have extended all appointments to enable a door to surgery policy, therefore our patients are not needing to sit in waiting areas. Our extended appointments have also allowed additional time to disinfect in-between patients.
- We are alternating surgeries allowing us to effectively ventilate the room in-between patients.
Due to these additional measures we are currently running at a limited capacity, affecting the services we can currently provide, we appreciate your understanding during these difficult times.
